Do you know this?

Based on the work we're doing in some classes, regarding images (this being the final weeks of looking at their power) - do you know this image and the power it relates? Without looking it up online, would you care to guess or tell us what you think it is?

  1. I believe it's Andre the Giant. I can't remember the name of the graffiti artist who uses this as his logo, but I recognize it from the documentary, "Exit Through the Gift Shop."

  3. it is andre the giant. obey is now the company that uses this image - the creator started off placing posters up as street art - sort of like banksy. and now he has an entire clothing line (which i love and own some of!). there is a really big poster off of the belmont redline stop of this - if you're facing the brownline tracks that go toward kimball and look toward clark street you'll see it.

  4. I have seen this a couple of places around the city. If you look East from the belmont redline station you can see this painted i believe on the Belmont Army store. Don't really know what it can stand for, but I do sense strength in the image. I always thought that it was in relation to a music group.
